As minhas avós | My grandmothers

My maternal grandmother left me a Singer sewing machine from 1927 and my paternal grandmother used to send me little scraps so I could make dresses for my Barbie dolls.
Grandmother Sacramentinha I didn't meet, but I know that she used to give everyone a bowl of soup before they could leave her house. Forty or so years after her death everyone remembers her as being a person of great generosity in the village.
Grandmother Albertina gave me the expression, the way to laugh, the taste for sewing, the little stay-at-home shoes and the diced potato chips. And we saw each other only at Christmas only until 1988.

I suspect that the two go around me. I don't know why ... I have this feeling they do. :)
